At SoundTrack, your privacy is our top priority. Unlike most apps, we believe your personal concert memories should stay exactly that - personal. This Privacy Policy explains our privacy-first approach and why your data never leaves your device.

• Concert Data: All show dates, venue information, artist names, and personal notes are stored only on your device using local database storage.
• No Accounts: No user accounts, email addresses, or personal identifiers are collected or required.
• No Tracking: We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party data collection services.

1.2 Optional Cloud Backup

• Your Choice: You can optionally enable cloud backup to keep your concert data backed up to your personal cloud storage.
• Cloud Provider Privacy: When you enable cloud backup, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal cloud account - we never see it.
• Full Control: You can disable cloud backup at any time through your device settings.

1.3 Support Communications Only

• Email Support: The only data we collect is when you voluntarily contact our support team via email.
• Your Choice: You choose what information to share when seeking help.
• Deleted When Resolved: Support emails are deleted after your issue is resolved.

2. How Your Data Works

Since we don't collect your data, here's how SoundTrack actually works:

• Local Storage: All your concert data is stored securely on your device using local database storage
• No Internet Required: The app works completely offline - no internet connection needed to use your journal
• Your Device, Your Data: Search, filtering, and statistics are all generated locally on your device
• Cloud Backup (Optional): If you enable it, your cloud provider handles backing up your encrypted data
• Always Accessible: Your data is always available to you through the app interface
• No Lock-in: Your data stays on your device - you're never locked into our service

3. Data Sharing (Spoiler: We Don't)

3.1 No Third Parties

We don't work with analytics companies, advertising networks, or data brokers. There are no third-party services that have access to your personal information because we don't collect it in the first place.

3.2 No Legal Requests

Since we don't have your data on our servers, we can't be compelled to hand over information we don't possess. Your privacy is protected by design, not just by policy.

3.3 No Business Transfers

Even if SoundTrack were acquired, there would be no user data to transfer because we don't collect or store it. Your concert journal stays with you, not with us.

Your data security with SoundTrack:

• Local Encryption: Your data is encrypted on your device using your operating system's built-in security
• No Servers to Hack: We don't have databases or servers storing your personal information
• No Data Breaches: Can't breach data we don't have
• Device Security: Your concert journal is protected by your device's security features (biometric authentication, passcode)
• Cloud Security: If you use cloud backup, your cloud provider's enterprise-grade encryption protects your data

5. Your Rights (You Have Them All)

5.1 Access and Portability

Your data is always accessible to you through the app. Browse, search, and view all your concert history anytime - no permission needed from us because it's your data on your device.

5.2 Correction and Updates

Edit, update, or correct any information directly in the app. It's your journal, change it however you want.

5.3 Deletion

Delete individual shows, artists, venues, or your entire journal anytime. When you delete something, it's gone forever - we don't have backup copies on our servers.

5.4 No Marketing

We don't send marketing emails because we don't have your email address. The only communication you'll get from us is if you contact support first.

SoundTrack uses minimal third-party services to enhance your experience while maintaining your privacy:

9.1 Search Enhancement APIs

• Spotify API: When you search for artists, we query Spotify's API to help you find accurate artist information. Only your search terms are sent to Spotify - no personal data or concert history is shared.
• Google Maps API: When you search for venues, we use Google Maps API to help you find and select accurate venue information. Only your venue search terms and location queries are sent to Google - no personal data or concert history is shared.
• Search Only: These APIs are used solely for search functionality to help you find accurate artist and venue information. Your actual concert data stays on your device.
• No Tracking: We don't use these services for analytics, advertising, or user tracking purposes.

9.2 Other Services

• Cloud Storage (Optional): If you enable cloud backup, your cloud provider's privacy policy applies to that data
• No Social Media: We don't integrate with social platforms or share your data with them
• No Analytics: We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any tracking services
• No Ads: No advertising networks have access to your data because we don't collect it
